Buyer snaps up home the day after auction
A THREE-LEVEL fourbedroom home in Fairfield sold for $940,000, having been passed in at auction.
There were 35 people present at the on-site auction for 8 Turner Ave, with the property failing to achieve a bid and being left on the market at offers over $890,000.
Marketing agent Gemma Kunst from McGrath Bulimba said the property sold for $940,000, with the offer coming in the day after the auction.
She said the Highgate Hill- based buyer intended to live in the property, which also had two bathrooms and two car parking spaces.
She said it was one of the highest recorded post-flood sales in Fairfield for a nonriverfront property.
