TELEVISION star Kerri-Anne Kennerley has put her luxurious Hope Island home on the market for $950,000 and will be on the Gold Coast today to promote the sale.

Mrs Kennerley bought the waterfront block at 1511 Rosebank Way on Hope Island for $145,000 in 2001.

The former Good Morning Australia presenter, who had the home built, hopes to turn that investment into almost $1 million.

“The place has been completely repainted and it sits right on the waterfront with its own marina,” she said.

“Because the area is in a secure compound, you feel like you are living in a resort. I think it would make the perfect weekend home for a family with young kids.”

Ray White Hope Island agent Janet Davis said it was rare to get a celebrity house for less than $1 million.

“I think we will get a lot of offers because the home is owned by Kerri-Anne,” she said.
