A FIVE-bed­room New Farm res­i­dence sold for more than $2.5 mil­lion at auc­tion.

Agent Matt Lan­cashire from Ray White New Farm said 106 Vil­liers St at­tracted four reg­is­tered bid­ders and 100 people to the on-site auc­tion.

Auc­tion­eer Haes­ley Cush took an open­ing bid of $2 mil­lion be­fore the sale price of $2.605 mil­lion was reached.

Mr Lan­cashire said the stun­ning ar­chi­tec­tural res­i­dence epit­o­mised the mod­ern New Farm fam­ily home.
