A FIVE-BED­ROOM ren­o­vated Queens­lan­der in Padding­ton sold at auc­tion for more than $1.2 mil­lion.

Place New Farm mar­ket­ing agent Sher­rie Storor said 4 Great George St (pic­tured) at­tracted seven regis­tered bid­ders.

Auc­tion­eer Ja­son An­drew brought the ham­mer down at $1.265 mil­lion with the buy­ers be­ing a Spring Hill-based fam­ily.

There were 19 bids from three com­pet­ing par­ties with bid­ding start­ing at $1 mil­lion for the five-bed­room three­bath­room prop­erty.

A prop­erty at 19 Circe St, Hamil­ton, sold at auc­tion for $1.9 mil­lion. Mar­ket­ing agent Guy Horsely from Ray White As­cot said there were 12 bid­ders for the res­i­dence.

The house is high on Hamil­ton Hill with north­east­erly views.

Auc­tion­eer Phil Parker took an open­ing bid of $1.8 mil­lion over the phone be­fore the three-bed­room two-bath­room prop­erty sold to an As­cot-based fam­ily.
