It’s the original romantic comedy and the template of this Shakespeare play set a precedent followed in rom-coms for centuries. Queensland Theatre Company is marking the 400th anniversary of the Bard’s death in style with this production directed by Shakespeare aficionado Jason Klarwein and starring several of our finest thespians, including Christen O’Leary, Tama Matheson, Hugh Parker and Bryan Probets. The setting is a five-star resort that will seem familiar. The Bard always chronicled the battle of the sexes with great humour and this is one of his best.
