YES­TER­DAY, in the morn­ing, at the Bris­bane Show­grounds, His Ex­cel­lency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Ad­min­is­tra­tor of the Govern­ment of the Com­mon­wealth of Aus­tralia, and Mrs Kaye de Jersey vis­ited the 138th Royal Queens­land Show – the EKKA – on Peo­ple’s Day, as guests of the RNA Pres­i­dent, the Honourable Jus­tice David Thomas and Mrs Jane Thomas. His Ex­cel­lency the Ad­min­is­tra­tor and Mrs de Jersey vis­ited the sheep shear­ing, ca­nine sweep­stakes, wood­chop, and show hunter hacks, at which His Ex­cel­lency the Ad­min­is­tra­tor pre­sented rib­bons to prize win­ners, viewed the grand pa­rade and also at­tended a lun­cheon with RNA Honorary Coun­cil­lors and spouses.
