HEALTH INQUIRY ON ROCKS Premier Peter Beattie last night was preparing to abandon the discredited $6 million Morris health inquiry. He also ruled out starting a new one. Mr Beattie rejected Opposition calls to appeal against a decision by Brisbane Supreme Court judge Martin Moynihan that health inquiry chairman Tony Morris, QC, had shown ostensible bias.
