Future of power in balance

CAN someone explain where our future power will come from? The Greens with Labor want to phase out or close coal power stations, not allow nuclear power or uranium mining, and now Deputy Premier Jackie Trad is considering not allowing a solar generator to proceed ( C-M, Sep 1). The only thing left is wind and there is plenty of hot wind coming from George St. Rather than worrying about renewable energy perhaps we need a renewable government that gets on with the job we elected it to do.
