Quad shots blew limit
A SELF-CONFESSED alcoholic who told police he drank “quadruple shots” of Jack Daniels before getting behind the wheel at Waterford West in July has been sentenced after blowing more than six times the legal limit.
Ormeau man Troy Segetaro Asanuma, 34, was disqualified from driving for 22 months when he appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to drink driving in Logan on the morning of July 29. He also got 18 months’ probation after blowing a blood-alcohol reading of .306.
In April last year, Gold Coast hairdresser Angela Bisson blew 0.48.
