Quad shots blew limit

A SELF-CON­FESSED al­co­holic who told po­lice he drank “quadru­ple shots” of Jack Daniels be­fore get­ting be­hind the wheel at Water­ford West in July has been sen­tenced af­ter blow­ing more than six times the le­gal limit.

Ormeau man Troy Sege­taro Asanuma, 34, was dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for 22 months when he ap­peared in South­port Mag­is­trates Court on Fri­day and pleaded guilty to drink driv­ing in Lo­gan on the morn­ing of July 29. He also got 18 months’ pro­ba­tion af­ter blow­ing a blood-al­co­hol read­ing of .306.

In April last year, Gold Coast hair­dresser An­gela Bis­son blew 0.48.
