Testing time for It boy

TEEN actor Nicholas Hamilton stars in one of the biggest films of the year, It, but he still has to sit Year 11 exams.

“I do all my exams this week, I get straight back into it,” said Hamiltont (pictured), who flew in from Los Angeles on Friday.

He hails from the small NSW town of Alstonville but has spent the past three weeks promoting the film adaptation of Stephen King’s horror novel in LA.

Now it’s back to the books, with his school allowing him to sit exams a week later than his peers.

“Everyone knows what I am doing at all times and they are very supportive,” Hamilton said.

The film has set global box offices records – but that doesn’t guarantee him an ‘A’ in drama.

“My teachers want me to get into theatre and asked me to be in the school play,” he said.
