WHY QUEENS­LAND NEEDS A CRIME COM­MIS­SION When the his­tory of pe­dophilia and pol­i­tics in Queens­land is writ­ten, Gor­don Nut­tall, MLA, will rate an hon­ourable men­tion as a clas­sic ex­am­ple of why Queens­land needs a crime com­mis­sion. Yes­ter­day, Mr Nut­tall, deputy chair­man of the Par­lia­men­tary Crim­i­nal Jus­tice Com­mit­tee, pro­nounced that ev­i­dence so far be­fore the PCJC had con­vinced him it should be left up to the po­lice and Crim­i­nal Jus­tice Com­mis­sion to in­ves­ti­gate pe­dophilia.
