NO TIME FOR HORSING AROUND
BRISBANE fashionista Phoebe Phillips may have been involved in the racing world only a year, but the rising star is making some serious tracks in the industry.
The 25-year-old, who is also working in the costume department on Aquaman while it films on the Gold Coast, has been named as an ambassador for First Light Racing, one of the biggest racehorse ownership organisations in Melbourne, for the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival.
Ms Phillips was involved with the Brisbane Racing Carnival earlier this year. She will be flown south to several events, which she described as a stepping stone to her dream career. She is a First Light Racing owner of two horses. She has a colt with champion Brisbane trainer Robert Heathcote, and will be a special guest at his open day at Eagle Farm tomorrow morning.
