BEING KIM ISN’T ALL THAT SIMPLE

The Courier-Mail - - CONFIDENTIAL -

KIM Kardashian may be worth an estimated $69 million and expecting her third child with rapper Kanye West via surrogate but all she really wants is the simple life.

The reality star (pictured) yesterday confirmed long-held rumours she and West would be welcoming a baby born by surrogate in January.

And although the surrogate will alleviate Kardashian of the pregnancy complications she suffered with daughter, North, 4, and son, Saint, 21 months – a newborn baby is unlikely to make her schedule any simpler.

“I like to plan things at weird hours in the middle of the night when my kids are sleeping. That’s when I get my nails done and my spray tans. I get my spray tans at midnight sometimes,” Kardashian said in an exclusive interview. Indeed, being Kim Kardashian is no easy task.

“In terms of maintenance and what it is to at least be in wardrobe fittings and dye my hair and facials and nails and all of that – it is overwhelming and it is a lot of work,” she said.

Despite the middle-of- the-night manicures, Kardashian revealed she has a totally new perspective towards life after being brutally robbed in Paris one year ago, an event she describes as a “massive wake-up call”.

“I have learnt just to live a more simple life after my situation in Paris. I put so much emphasis on material things and it really made me realise how unimportant they are,” she said.

“You know, I definitely like to treat myself here and there, but I put so much emphasis on it before.”

Kim’s baby news comes amid speculation that both her sisters Khloe and Kylie are also expecting.
