ON A trip by train, every station from Brisbane to Caboolture had overflowing car parks. How can more people be expected to leave cars at home if there is no parking at stations? The same applies to busway stations where the city council has never considered it essential to make these provisions. Living a distance from stations means vehicle transport to access them is necessary and more parking is long overdue. Ken Johnston, Rochedale South
