AUTHORITIES are scrambling to find the source of an emerging COVID-19 cluster at a school in Sydney’s northwest that has infected 11 people, the largest school-linked outbreak in NSW.
The NSW chief health officer said there could be undetected clusters of the virus introduced from Victoria.
There were 11 cases linked with Cherrybrook’s Tangara School for Girls yesterday. Five cases were detected in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday. Two more cases were identified yesterday. In total, seven students, three close contacts of students, and one teacher are linked to the school.
