The Daily Examiner - - NEWS NATION -

AUSTRALIANS are shopping online more than ever and mainly from local retailers, according to new research from Australia Post. Its second annual Inside Australian Online Shopping Report draws on all of Australia Post and StarTrack’s customer and delivery data, showing online shopping sales soared 11.5% in 2016 and domestic retailers accounted for 79% of the total online spend. Australia Post’s general manager Ben Franzi said price, range and convenience were the three main reasons that consumers shopped online, and why growth rates remained strong.
