Grandparents share school spirit

The Daily Examiner - - NIE -

LAST Wednesday, our whole school at St Jospeh’s Primary South Grafton celebrated with some very special people in our lives, our grandparents.

It was wonderful to see so many parents and grandparents join with us for a beautiful liturgy and take part in some wonderful classroom activities including making crosses, and being presented with bookmarks ‘A Cross in My Pocket’ from their grandchildren.

Following some entertaining performances from the students and the Drum Band, a light luncheon was served and enjoyed in our beautiful grounds.

Special thanks to Chrissie Morrison, Family Educator for the Parent Assembly, for supplying delicious sandwiches and refreshments as well as continued support, and to the staff of St Joseph’s for their sweet selection of baked goodies.

What a fantastic day!
