A POWERFUL UNION WANTS YOU TO BOYCOTT CORNETTOS AND MAGNUMS THIS SUMMER BECAUSE, IT SAYS, STREETS ICE CREAM WORKERS ARE ABOUT TO HAVE THEIR PAY CUT IN HALF: Mary Anne Buckler: What negotiations got the workers a 46% pay rate above the award wage in the first place? Employment would become impossible if everyone was employed like that. The union should shut its mouth. Shaunagh Sullivan: Even the Reserve Bank says wages have been stagnant for so long, it’s damaging

the economy. Business can’t sell what people can’t buy.

Theo Jongen: Sure, why not, filthy rich multinational companies screwing over workers will not be supported by me.

Rod Lee: The only Union to be in is the Credit Union.

Danny Scott: When will people realise that it’s because of years & years of unions pushing up the cost of production that these companies become unable to compete if they continue to manufacture in Australia. Soon Australia won’t manufacture anything thanks to the cost of employment.
