The Daily Examiner - - YOUR SAY -

AIRPORT: CASA HAS FOUND TWO SAFETY ISSUES WITH GRAFTON AIRPORT THAT WILL COST $20,000 TO FIX ACCORDING TO A REPORT FOR COUNCIL. DO YOU USE GRAFTON AIRPORT? SHOULD COUNCIL CONTINUE TO SPEND MONEY FIXING IT?

Julie Watkins-Burke: Yes and having not read the report I still will. We need a local airport if we want the area to grow, lose it and we go back to 1950. Do you really want that.

Katie Nagle: I don't use it, like most people I go to coffs harbour airport Leone Coper: Use it all the time. Beats driving to Coffs and paying for parking.

#NBN NETFLIX ACCOUNTS AT THE READY ... FASTER INTERNET IS ON ITS WAY TO THE CLARENCE VALLEY:

Bella Bunnies: Not likely for all areas, they haven’t even started to put the node boxes down. Sam Hope Mik Bullock: Grafton will catch up one day.

Sebastian Rooks: Beware the heavy sales tactics coming. Fixed Wireless is of most concern as it is only sold as an 'UP TO' 25Mbs. Unfortunately this can mean less than you currently get with your ADSL service. No, you do not have to sign up to Fixed wireless as the product can be so poor the old landlines will NOT be cut off until at least 2021 and only then if the telephone issues gain large quality improvements.

It is the elderly and the uninformed that are generally the biggest victims when NBN gets rolled out.

If you get harassed, lied to or feel uncomfortable with the letters, phone calls and harassment contact the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman and make a complaint on 1800 062 058.
