Try these beginner kayaking experiences around Sydney:

Paddle along the shores of Bundeena Bay in Port Hacking and cut around the bend to gorgeous South West Arm creek. Bring lunch and you can pull ashore for a remote picnic. Transport is also offered to support a full-day kayak from Bundeena to Audley Weir (or reverse).

Paddle past the pedal-boat and row-boat punters from the Lane Cove Boatshed to explore the scenic bush and shores of the river.
Audley Boatshed, Royal National Park, 150 Audley Rd, Audley; daily 9am-5pm, one hour $20, audleyboatshed.com Viewing the cliffs and bush of the Royal National Park from the Hacking River and Kangaroo Creek is one of Sydney’s most scenic kayaking experiences. There are also some lovely picnic spots. Historic Audley Boatshed has been a Sydney institution since 1893 and it’s open every day of the year.
