A wine or two too many, a buf­fet binge or head­ing home at sun­rise, we’ve all been there. But as we gear up for an­other party sea­son, it may be time to re­think you’re ap­proach and tackle this year’s silly sea­son like a marathon. Di­eti­tian Chloe McLeod says she feels is like the fun po­lice, but moder­a­tion the key to stay­ing healthy through­out party sea­son, par­tic­u­larly with al­co­hol. “It’s so easy to overdo it; you’ve been less at work all day and you’re tired, and about than healthy canapés are float­ing But or you drink too much,” she says. “and the guide­lines are there for a rea­son that’s be­cause of the neg­a­tive im­pact al­co­hol has on your health.” Stress and time con­straints can leave us run­ning from the of­fice to yet an­other func­tion wound up and starv­ing — and set us up for un­in­ten­tional ex­cesses.
