It’s all about, you guessed it, green in 2017 with a darker hue of the shade ap­pear­ing to re­place the trend to navy, mid­night blue and char­coal of the past few years.

“If I had to choose just one colour to epit­o­mise 2017 it would be an earthy rich green which pro­vides a sense of sta­bil­ity and con­nec­tion to the environment,” says Wendy Ren­nie, colour and con­cept man­ager at Haymes Paint.

“We saw green emerge as a trend colour in 2016 and next year we will still see it be­ing used across in­te­ri­ors and sur­faces in many shades and tones.”
