There’s noth­ing worse than stay­ing with fam­ily or frirnds and re­al­is­ing you need to use the bath­room at night or you just can’t sleep and want to get up — but you’re stay­ing in an un­fa­mil­iar house.

Tara sug­gests, for the con­ve­nience of ev­ery­one, it might be worth leav­ing a cou­ple of lights on overnight.

“We have guests who get up dur­ing the night so I’ll il­lu­mi­nate the hall­way with one of those plug-in night lights,” she says. “They’re a re­ally good idea for the kitchen, hall­way and bath­room.”
