WASH YOUR WINDOWS

The Daily Telegraph (Sydney) - Home - - MAKEOVER -

A thorough window clean can make a huge difference to the appearance of your home from the outside.

“Cleaning dirty windows to get that oh-so-satisfying shine is usually a labourintensive task that people keep putting off,” says Brad Raftery, national training manager at Karcher.

He recommends using a microfibre cloth to get rid of stubborn marks before using a specialist appliance such as Kärcher’s Window Vac for a streak-free finish.

Spring is also a great time to consider your window coverings — both inside and out.

Outdoor shutters, awnings and shades will all add to the exterior of your home and keep the sun out when it heats up while still allowing you to have the windows open to let the fresh air and afternoon breeze through.
