Hang­ing your favourite pho­tos and art­works on the walls is not al­ways pos­si­ble in a rental as land­lords may frown up you drilling into the walls.

Jus­tine says it’s best to get per­mis­sion if you want to in­stall any hooks.

“If you want to add art but don’t have per­mis­sion to use a per­ma­nent fix­ing, ob­vi­ously things like 3M hooks are fan­tas­tic for a light art­work,” she says.

Libby sug­gests lean­ing large art­works against walls, while smaller art­works can sit on a con­sole or ta­ble.
