What the experts wish they knew when they started out

What the design experts wish they could tell their younger selves might surprise you, writes Robyn Willis

We’ve all had that moment where we’d like to turn back the clock and give our younger selves some practical advice. For those who work in building and design, professional mistakes made because of lack of experience often come at a price, either in lost time or cold, hard cash.

So we checked in with some of the best and brightest in key areas of building and design who are at the mid point of their careers to see what they would have liked to have known when they were starting out.

Because while they’re all successful in their fields now, some of them had fairly bumpy starts before finding their feet and honing their craft.

The benefit of their hindsight might just be the help you need right now.

Architect EvaMarie Prineas followed this project from start to finish.
