An effective office layout will reflect on your business — especially if your work involves receiving clients at home — and may even impact on your productivity.

Interior designer Jenny Williams from Creative Style (her work is pictured above) says more people are calling in design professionals to help set up a home office.

“Most (of the people I see) have decided that the end of the dining table isn’t cutting it anymore,” Jenny says.

“There are more and more people, a lot of whom are women, setting up SMEs (small to medium enterprises), working from home,” she says. “With smart phones and remote access technology, many people who are employed are now working from home, one to several days a week.”
