Subsidies are futile

The Daily Telegraph (Sydney) - - Letters -

Why should we subsidise renewable energy when it gives little benefit to the government’s finances?

The only thing it benefits is the bottom line of power companies, manufacturers and the smug feelings of inner city lefties and the greenies.

All the while the population as a whole suffers under ever-increasing power prices, forcing people to go without and businesses to close. Peter Wilcox, Blayney
