Gym junkie’s plea back­flip

A GYM junkie who pleaded guilty to sell­ing body­build­ing drugs to an un­der­cover po­lice of­fi­cer has re­versed his plea af­ter re­cruit­ing a new le­gal team.

For­mer Any­time Fit­ness trainer James Wil­liam Blatch, 29, who was due to be sen­tenced yes­ter­day, has now en­tered a plea of not guilty to the com­mer­cial sup­ply of the body­build­ing drug gamma bu­ty­ro­lac­tone (GBL).

He will now face trial on the com­mer­cial sup­ply of GBL af­ter po­lice al­legedly found a 1.1kg tub of the drug in the kitchen of his home in 2015.
