TRADIE IN FALL COMA
A MAN working on the Blacktown Hospital upgrade was taken to Westmead Hospital yesterday afternoon after falling 3m onto concrete at work.
Medical staff from the hospital were quick to assist the 29-year-old man, who was suffering a severe head injury.
He was intubated at the scene and placed in an induced coma, before he was flown to Westmead Hospital by Care-Flight. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
