Not Baird for a 162 day job

The Daily Telegraph (Sydney) - - News -

FORMER Premier Mike Baird has cashed in by making the switch to banking, earning about five times the amount he was paid per year in politics at National Australia Bank.

NAB’s annual report for the 12 months to September 30 revealed yesterday that Mr Baird (pictured) has been paid $886,845 since he started as chief customer officer on April 21 — a tidy sum for just 162 days’ work.

This included a $535,766 salary, $227,754 in short term incentives plus additional benefits. Annualised, it equates to a pay packet of about $2.1 million — five times the $387,000 he was paid as premier.
