The Coles First Steps program. Helping employ over 3000 Indigenous team members.

The Daily Telegraph (Sydney) - - News -

At Coles, we’re proud to announce that we now employ more than 3,000 Indigenous team members across Australia – the equivalent of three percent of all our team members, and representative of the Indigenous population across Australia.

One of the ways we have achieved this milestone is through Coles First Steps, a dedicated Indigenous employment program that supports those looking for employment opportunities at their local Coles stores.

For team members like Tina, from Nikinya country, West Kimberly, Coles First Steps made her ‘feel proud to see so many of my people step up for the challenge’ and through the support and mentoring she received, Tina now enjoys working at Coles Express Kwinana.

It’s programs like Coles First Steps that help ensure our workforce is representative of the Australian communities in which we operate.
