Shop­per’s park­ing fail

A WOMAN es­caped se­ri­ous in­jury af­ter the front wheels of her car went over the edge of the third floor of a south­ern Syd­ney shop­ping cen­tre car park with a steel guardrail sav­ing her from a po­ten­tial 10m fall yes­ter­day.

The 40-year-old driver suf­fered mi­nor in­juries when the airbag dis­charged in the in­ci­dent at West­field Mi­randa about 11.30am. Shop­pers be­low saw her ve­hi­cle’s wheels hang­ing over the edge of the car park. The woman was taken to Suther­land Hospi­tal in a sta­ble con­di­tion.
