Carpe Diem fundraiser
Seventeen members of the Corowa Rotary Club attended the Carpe Diem evening at the Oddfellows Hall recently where they donated their usual dinner money to mental health projects.
The Corowa Rotary Club raised more than $600 through their Hat Day, Lift The Lid fund raisers and the Carpe Diem Night.
This money was donated to Australian Rotary Health in support of the Lift The Lid campaign, which aims to raise funds to significantly increase research into mental illness prevention.
Corowa Rotary Club President Meredith Miegel was able to speak to John Wood after the Carpe Diem production to tell him of their successful fundraising efforts.
The staff of Miegels Pharmacy also assisted with the fundraising by holding a guessing competition with jelly beans in a jar.

Ladles of Love hosted a barbeque on the night, with all proceeds going towards their meal voucher program.
