Dig deep for Christmas raffle
Christmas is the time for giving and on this premise the Corowa Ladles of Love Kitchen has organised a Christmas raffle.
The prize is a large Christmas stocking full of clothing, toys, household goods, Christmas food, games and lots more.
Money raised from the raffle will continue to support people in need with meal vouchers.
Ladles of Love is asking residents to dig deep and purchase tickets which cost $2 each or three for $5.
Tickets can be purchased from Accendo Hair, Skin and Wellness, Corowa Free Press, Corowa Community Hub, Perfection Hair Salon and Guy Street Cafe.
The Christmas stocking is on display in Accendo’s window.
Ladles of Love wishes to thank the Men’s Shed and Max Maclean and Co who helped put together the almost six foot tall Christmas stocking and Accendo for putting the prize on display.
The raffle will be drawn on Monday, December 18.
The Corowa Ladles of Love Kitchen also wishes to thank the community for its ongoing support throughout the year and wishes everyone a happy and safe Christmas and New Year.
