The Easter Tournament was held over three days, good greens and lovely weather made for very pleasant conditions.
Results are as follows - Friday Triples Winners - Civic - J. White skip, r/up Civic/Benalla T. Webb skip. Saturday Pairs Winners - Civic/Services R. Davies skip, r/up Wodonga R. Taylor skip. Sunday Triples Winners - Civic/Services R. Ash skip, r/up Port Melbourne M. Rennex Skip. Thanks to everyone for their help over a very successful weekend. Wednesday social bowls winners were M. Watson’s team +16, r/up W. Mills +12. Saturday social winners were L. Pyke and team +31, r/up P. King and team.
The official bowls season is drawing to a close but remember social bowls will continue on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at 1pm so put your name on the appropriate sheet in the tunnel.
First week in May will be the Ladies Invitation Fours played over two days.
The Autumn Club Pennant will start on Tuesday, May 8, played over six weeks.
Put your name on the sheet to be placed in a team, this is good fun, very competitive and a great club competition.

A/B combined report: Hot conditions and players away due to injuries and sickness did not help with our first round for either of these grades.
However it was a real team effort, with everyone having a go no matter what position or how many quarters they had to play. Well done to all. Better luck next week.
