Ruther­glen 50 de­feated Wah­gun­yah 39.

B Grade

– Brit­tney Dee­gan – Jane McInnes – Kai­ley Athani- – Emily Browne Com­bi­na­tions all over court were awe­some with great full court de­fence cre­at­ing many turnovers. Shoot­ers com­bined well to op­ti­mise scor­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties. Well done to all girls. Ruther­glen 36 de­feated Wah­gun­yah 29. Great start to kick off the sea­son com­ing away with a 7 goal win against the Lions. Great ver­sa­til­ity in team.

C Grade

Ruther­glen 56 de­feated Wah­gun­yah 15. – Chelsea Smith – Kar­lin Waite – Tiarnie Lumby Awe­some game from all nine play­ers to­day, was great to have some ver­sa­til­ity in the team. The C Grade train is off to a rip­ping start and we look for­ward to see­ing how the 2018 sea­son un­folds.

Un­der 18’s

Ruther­glen 37 de­feated Wah­gun­yah 22. Awards: Sport­spower Corowa – Bry­die Smith Ruther­glen Pizza – Abby Bain­bridge Ur­ban Graze Al­bury – Jess Oats The 2018 sea­son kicked off with a strong win against the Lions, the newly formed team worked well through­out the en­tire court and was a credit to them all. Con­grat­u­la­tions to Bry­die Smith, best on court for con­tin­u­ous in­ter­cepts and de­fen­sive turnovers.

Un­der 15’s

Ruther­glen 37 de­feated by Wah­gun­yah 42. – Ava Cofield – Bylee Al­li­son 15 girls dom­i­nated the court on Satur­day against Wah­gun­yah and were up all game with Ava Cofield and Tahli Bain­bridge shoot­ing goals from ev­ery­where around the ring. Bylee Al­li­son con­trolled the cen­tre beau­ti­fully. With a dev­as­tat­ing in­jury to Bec Cooper in GD we had to make some changes and un­for­tu­nately went down in the last quar­ter.

Un­der 13’s

Ruther­glen 8 de­feated by Wah­gun­yah 25. – Emma Beat­tie The girls started the sea­son well; de­spite the loss they had a great first half. For such a young side to come to­gether, Coach Chelsea Smith says “I look for­ward to work­ing with these girls through­out the 2018 sea­son”.
