Purchase of cabins dilemma

The Free Press (Corowa) - - FRONT PAGE - BY ROBERT MUIR

Due to the commercial-in-confidence nature of cabin valuations at the Ball Park Caravan Park, to protect the commercial interest of the owners, Federation Council moved to a closed session at their monthly meeting yesterday at the time of the Free Press going to print.

Council was to consider the purchase or lease of the cabins. The existing contractors are coming to the end of the long-term management lease held and own all the cabins at the park.

Council is calling for a short term (18 months to two years) caretaker style contract, to allow delivery of the first stages at least, of the Corowa Swimming Pool, and further planning to occur on long-term improvements needed to the caravan park.
