Ur­ban Graze Vol­un­teer Awards: Cath Woods and Cody Kuschert are wor­thy re­cip­i­ents of this week’s vol­un­teer awards.

Cath had a busy day with net­ball and fol­lowed it up as wa­ter car­rier for the footy.

Cody, who is on track to re­turn to footy mid­sea­son, has been do­ing wa­ter du­ties dur­ing his pe­riod of re­hab. Thanks Cath and Cody.

Roos news

In­stal­la­tion of the new large-screen elec­tronic score­board is on track with the foot­ings be­ing poured this week.

Along with the new goal posts in­stalled pre­sea­son, the elec­tronic score­board and time clock will sig­nif­i­cantly im­prove the view­ing ex­pe­ri­ence for spec­ta­tors and play­ers alike.

Time is run­ning short to book your tick­ets for the An­nual Black Tie Ball (Mas­quer­ade) to be held at the Corowa Golf Club, 6.30pm Satur­day, May 5. Live mu­sic by the popular “Tou­can Rock”. $60 adults, $45 U18s.

Tick­ets avail­able from Ori­gin Cloth­ing or direct from the club on­line.

Other up­com­ing events in­clud­ing the “Fa­ther-Son Night” with AFL duo, the leg­endary Hawthorn’s Peter Hud­son and son Paul.

This year’s “Golden Roo Din­ner” fea­tur­ing an­other AFL leg­end in Boomer Har­vey is com­ing soon.

Dis­counted ex­tra tick­ets at $100 are avail­able to Golden Roos mem­bers that pay their mem­ber­ship be­fore April 30. In­stead of its reg­u­lar boat raf­fle, the club will be hold­ing a “Cash Draw Day” to be held in a sim­i­lar for­mat to the boat raf­fle.
