Wil­lett off to World Cup

James Wil­lett is trav­el­ling to Malta in the next month to com­pete at the World Cup in his new dis­ci­pline of Trap shoot­ing.

He qual­i­fied for the event af­ter plac­ing in qual­i­fy­ing events in­clud­ing a fourth plac­ing in Echuca re­cently at the Vic­to­rian State ti­tles and a sec­ond plac­ing in Ade­laide.

Af­ter the World Cup James will then head to Italy for six weeks to com­pete in the In­ter­na­tional Grand Prix.

“I’d just like to thank my spon­sors again for all their help and sup­port - the Cen­tral Mur­ray Credit Union, Har­g­reaves Se­cured In­vest­ments, Yar­ra­wonga Fenc­ing and Co­bram Toy­ota,” James said.

James will head to Malta and Italy over the next cou­ple of months to com­pete in the World Cup and World Cham­pi­onships in his new dis­ci­pline of trap shoot­ing.
