An exhibition of works by popular Corowa artist Marg Wilmot has opened in the Special Exhibitions room at Corowa’s Gallery 294 and will continue until the end of June.

Marg has chosen the title “I Felt Adorned” to describe the range of items that can beautify, add adornment, add lustre and embellish a fashion wardrobe.

Marg is well known for her fibre art, using the techniques of felting, that combine merino wool with a range of other fibres such as silk, mohair and cashmere. Gorgeous wraps in a range of colours are a strong feature of this exhibition

Works by member Suzanne French are featured in the Gallery’s Focus Room this month. Gallery 294 is open daily from 10am to 4pm.

Now in its tenth year, the gallery continues to develop and delight both local and out of town visitors with its artwork and hand crafted giftware. Entry is free at all times.

This delicate scarf, designed by local artist Marg Wilmot, is one of many items currently on display in the Special Exhibitions room.
