The Free Press (Corowa) - - FRONT PAGE -

The exhibition runs until Sunday, November 18. The gallery will be hosting an opening celebration on Saturday, November 3 at 2pm and would love to see locals drop in for drinks and nibbles.

In describing her work, Christina says “colour helps me to penetrate the two dimensions by creating a silent healing depth of my inner self. My interior world influences the way I see the outer world. When I’m walking about I am present in the moment. Studying my surroundings, observing space and shapes, lines and angles, overlaps and expressions. Studying textures, the relationship of fluid and organic shapes to geometric angles, the play of natural formations of cross-bedding, root systems intertwining, rocks, irregularities of underlying surfaces, changes in texture or composition and in colour, layers separated by distinct planes. All of these affect how I react to my visual world.”

Corowa’s Gallery 294 is delighted to welcome new exhibition ‘Inspiration Across Boundaries’ by well- known Albury artist Christina Zei.
