Ace effort proves Geoff is no hack
A HOLE-IN-ONE by Geoff Hack was the highlight of last week’s stableford at the New Norfolk Golf Club.
Geoff produced the perfect shot on the 15th green. Congratulations Geoff on this fantastic achievement.
There was great scoring during the stableford, with Wayne Hodge just getting over the line in the 18-hole event with 42 points, with Peter Jelkic runner-up with 41.
Fred Carmichael took out the nine-hole event with 21 points to edge out Peter Jelkic with 20 points
Another standout performance came from Jake Wessing, who had a scintillating 46 points to have the score of the day in Saturday’s stableford to take out Division 2. Don Armstrong was runner-up with 42 points.
In Division 1, Pat Graham continued his recent good form to take the honours with 42 points, edging out Stephen Ackerley, who also had a great round with 41 points.
The terrific scoring continued in Division 3, with a double countback needed to determine the winner. Alan Leitch took the honours from Robin Hoare and Wayne Hodge after all had scored 41 points.
