Ace ef­fort proves Ge­off is no hack

A HOLE-IN-ONE by Ge­off Hack was the high­light of last week’s sta­ble­ford at the New Nor­folk Golf Club.

Ge­off pro­duced the per­fect shot on the 15th green. Con­grat­u­la­tions Ge­off on this fan­tas­tic achieve­ment.

There was great scor­ing dur­ing the sta­ble­ford, with Wayne Hodge just get­ting over the line in the 18-hole event with 42 points, with Peter Jel­kic run­ner-up with 41.

Fred Carmichael took out the nine-hole event with 21 points to edge out Peter Jel­kic with 20 points

Another stand­out per­for­mance came from Jake Wess­ing, who had a scin­til­lat­ing 46 points to have the score of the day in Satur­day’s sta­ble­ford to take out Di­vi­sion 2. Don Armstrong was run­ner-up with 42 points.

In Di­vi­sion 1, Pat Graham con­tin­ued his re­cent good form to take the hon­ours with 42 points, edg­ing out Stephen Ack­er­ley, who also had a great round with 41 points.

The ter­rific scor­ing con­tin­ued in Di­vi­sion 3, with a dou­ble count­back needed to de­ter­mine the win­ner. Alan Leitch took the hon­ours from Robin Hoare and Wayne Hodge af­ter all had scored 41 points.
