You can’t beat Banjos for buns

The Gazette (Derwent Valley) - - EASTER IN THE VALLEY -

WHENEVER Easter rolls around there really is no other place to think of except Banjos Bakery.

The popular bakery in High Street is your one stop shop for delicious baked goods and of course the ever popular hot cross bun.

Buns are made fresh in store each day by local bakers for the bargain price of $4.95 for a pack of six traditional fruit buns.

Always delicious either hot or cold, they are the perfect treat to have this weekend.

Those who enjoy a bit more spice and fruit can pick up a six pack of the gourmet buns for $6.95 which have added fruit, spice and mixed peel.

Banjos also have available chocolate buns for $6.95 in a six pack as well as a 12-pack of mini-chocolate, or a 12-pack of traditional bunnies both for $6.95.

Local franchisee Robbie Iles is passionate about the local community and ensures the business always puts back into the Derwent Valley with sponsorships of several sporting teams and community groups.

Banjos will be closed on Good Friday before resuming normal opening hours (5am to 6pm) on Easter Saturday.
