Parks service warns of Call for Mt Field fuel burnoff soccer players
A FUEL reduction fire is planned for the Mt Field National Park today and tomorrow by the Parks and Wildlife Service.
The 11ha burn has been designed to reduce fuels to provide protection for the visitor services zone at Mt Field National Park.
While planned burns are aimed at being low-intensity, at times there will be significant smoke and flames, and ash may result.
People with medical condi- tions are advised to have a personal plan for avoiding smoke from the burn.
