I MOVED to the Valley in 2010 to raise my family and bring a broader perspective to the role of Councillor and Deputy Mayor.
I am more than just rates, roads and rubbish.
I believe we need to improve our Derwent Valley brand through beautification and creating a cohesive look — giving people a destination rather than a way to somewhere.
We need to look at sustainable and cost neutral ways to handle waste management in the Valley.
I am enthusiastic, confident and progressive. I listen and will be a voice of reason. A public servant for 23 years with a degree in business, I come from a working-class family and retain those values, believing in social justice and fairness for all. I value close-knit communities who care about each other.
