The Gold Coast Bulletin - Gold Coast Eye - - TWEET & SOUR -

It seems some regular customers dining at their local surf club are up in arms over the cost and quality of the food on offer. Prices are continuing to rise to mainstream restaurant prices without the benefits of table service, table cloths and all the other trimmings when paying top dollar. Main meals under $12 are long gone on the daily a la carte menu at surf clubs, however, with dishes now fetching $20-$30. It’s no wonder some locals are not pleased and lashing out on social media. If prices are going up and up, then the produce, presentation and quality must too. Sometimes the customer is right. #chopchop
