KAYAH GUENTHER

Dancer, Murwillumbah Every time I dance it is a little different because I learn as I move. My moves are flexible and free. When I dance, I feel like a changed man. I love performing, both through dance and theatre, and I am always inspired by my brother Jarmahn and my sister Maitreyah. Gavin Webber (co-artistic director of Gold Coast dance theatre company The Farm) has also helped me as a dancer and helps me as a man. Gavin and I recently created and performed a dance theatre show together called The Crossing. We first performed it in Chili in 2016 and got a standing ovation for 10 minutes. That was a cool moment.
