YOUR STARS

The Gold Coast Bulletin - Gold Coast Eye - - HOROSCOPES - WITH SHELLEY VON STRUNCKEL

ARIES MAR 20 — APR 19

You’ve often complained about being responsible for too much. Still, in mid-May, when your ruler Mars moved to accent both joint planning and decision-making, you weren’t happy about it. However, you and others are now working together, and those stresses have been replaced by a new and wonderful team spirit. This week’s events test this but, ultimately, will probably only add to your joint accomplishments.

LEO JULY 22 — AUG 22

One of your strengths, as a Leo and a fire sign, is your ability to stand your ground, whatever it is you’re facing. Now, however, it’s the reverse. You’re being encouraged to at least explore options you regard as unfair, if not unrealistic. At minimum, you’ll learn something. But with the actual circumstances shifting, you’ll soon discover your options are far more appealing than they seem.

SAGITTARIUS NOV 22 — DEC 20

Being a quick-thinker, you usually bounce back from setbacks swiftly. But those you’re currently facing are so complex you’ve no idea what to do. Actually, your best option is to busy yourself with other matters, ideally decluttering your diary of pointless plans, present and future. That way, when the tide turns in your direction next week, you’ll be free to respond swiftly and with enthusiasm.

TAURUS APR 20 — MAY 20

Once you understand that there’s no avoiding certain sudden changes and, more important, ultimately they’ll prove beneficial, everything else will easy. However, you’re in a cycle that’s about breakthroughs, some anticipated but others completely unexpected. While your initial impulse may be to battle these, think again. Where they’re taking you and who you’ll meet could turn out to be nothing less than magical.

VIRGO AUG 23 — SEP 22

You’re right to debate, if not argue about, troubling demands or the questionable facts on which they’re based. However, while you’re usually up to date on important details, either some escaped your notice or, possibly, they’re being deliberately concealed. Knowing that, focus on gathering reliable information, even if this means joint decision-making. Judging by the swift pace, you’ll soon be able to alter these anyway.

CAPRICORN DEC 21 — JAN 19

The Capricorn Full Moon, on Thursday, brings both issues that have been on your mind and more recent developments to a head. While most will seem urgent, many can wait and will, in fact, benefit from thought and discussion. Even those you act on swiftly could need to be rethought soon, which suggests those, too, be organised so they can be altered, if not substantially changed.

GEMINI MAY 21 — JUNE 20

Few things annoy you more than dealing with unimaginative people or restrictive rules and regulations. However, that’s exactly what you’re facing and, unlikely as it seems, they’re in your best interests. Either they’ll force you to focus on certain matters you’ve been ignoring, or what you learn while battling them will broaden your horizons, and in amazing ways. The more inquisitive you are, the more you’ll learn.

LIBRA SEP 23 — OCT 22

Even at your cleverest or most persuasive, tricky obstacles will still be a challenge. Worrying as that sounds, these aren’t your fault or responsibility, they’re simply yours to deal with. Once you understand that, you’ll focus on finding a solution, possibly exploring options you haven’t previously considered. Ironically, the more you learn, the more this new world of ideas and people will intrigue you.

AQUARIUS JAN 20 — FEB 17

If you’ve learnt from the past weeks’ twists and turns that even seemingly simple arrangements are unlikely to last as they were first conceived, you won’t be surprised when practical matters or, possibly, issues with others demand a rethink. Initially, this will annoy you. But the more you learn, the more intrigued you’ll be, by both new ideas and changes in your world, many entirely unexpected.

CANCER JUNE 21 — JULY 21

Obviously, having to stand your ground or confront tricky individuals isn’t easy. Yet each experience or encounter offers insights, not just about the actual situation in question but about similar, and perplexing, past situations. Better yet, what you learn from this analysis will be informative during the coming dynamic, if unsettling, weeks, a cycle that climaxes with the potentially life-changing Cancer eclipsed New Moon on July 13.

SCORPIO OCT 23 — NOV 21

During June’s first half, you faced both tricky situations and, worse, lacked solid facts. Where decisions were pressing, you did your best. Now that more information is surfacing, you’ll need to rethink those decisions and alter existing plans. This alone will be unsettling but, worse, it means explaining where you went wrong. Forget worries about what others will think. They won’t care in the least.

PISCES FEB 18 — MAR 19

Giving up on a plan, commitment or future vision isn’t easy for you, as an idealist. Yet you’ve long sensed certain of these simply won’t fit into the swiftly changing world around you. After a few moments’ disappointment, you’ll be relieved, because you needn’t battle to keep that vision alive. But, even more, you’re thrilled because you’re now free to focus on a new goal or passion.
