TY SHEERS @ty_sheers_photography

I love to create images that make my Victorian relatives jealous, but the true satisfaction is finding something new on the beautiful Gold Coast not featuring all over social media. Drone photography has certainly helped me in this pursuit.

Backwash: It can be funny to watch the surfers struggling to get back out form the luxury of the shore but I’m sure they don’t see it that way.

Winter surf: People come from far and wide to be able to paddle out on Surfers Paradise beach. Who can blame them?

Better together: My fiance Amanda and I have a close group of friends who meet regularly to shoot a sunrise.

Solo swim We are spoiled with clear and clean water here and there are so many ways to get out and enjoy it.

High life: The view from a drone opens up all sorts of patterns and textures you just can’t see any other way.

Heavenly hideaway: One of my favourite little beaches on the Coast has to be Tallebudgera.

Burleigh beauty: All year round I can find something to shoot at Burleigh. The trick is to get there early.
